cclib-data software package provides Parsers and algorithms for computational chemistry (data files), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cclib-data
cclib-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cclib-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cclib-data *
You will get with cclib-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
